Qualifications

• 2+ years of welding/fitting experience in manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proficient in MIG welding; Stick or Flux-Core a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols.
• Strong understanding of metal fabrication techniques and safe welding practices.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active environment.

Responsibilities

• Fit and weld structural steel and metal components according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform MIG and/or Stick welding on mild steel and heavy plate materials.
• Inspect completed welds for quality and conformance to specifications.
• Operate fabrication tools and equipment safely, including torches, grinders, and cutting machines.
• Measure, cut, and align parts accurately before welding.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow safety protocols.
• Assist with general fabrication, assembly, and production duties as needed
