Job summary

Staffmark Group in Pearland, TX is seeking a Laser Welding Operator to perform MIG and TIG welding of stainless and carbon steel components, set up equipment, read blueprints, and maintain production records.

The role requires strong precision, ability to stand for long shifts, and proficiency with MS Office; direct hire with competitive pay $25-$30/hr and day shift 6:00 AM–6:00 PM; safety and quality are emphasized.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, charts, and specifications.
Strong mathematical and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel components.
Tack and weld thin-gauge square tubing according to engineering specifications.
Set up welding equipment and complete production processes independently.
Read blueprints and drawings to verify dimensions, thicknesses, and weld requirements.
Measure and inspect finished products using dimensional measuring tools.
Troubleshoot welding parameters and equipment issues to maintain quality standards.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and report any mechanical concerns.
Maintain accurate work orders, production records, and welding parameters.
Ensure all products meet company quality and customer specifications.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Report safety, quality, or equipment issues to supervision promptly.
Support continuous improvement efforts and assist with additional production duties as required.
