Job summary

Menk USA is seeking a Welder for our 2nd shift to perform MIG and TIG welding on transformer components, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity. Work on steel components according to drawings and specs, with opportunities for growth in a growing manufacturing organization.

Qualifications

• Experience with MIG and TIG welding on steel components.
• Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
• Experience reading drawings and production documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel components per drawings.
• Operate oxy-fuel/torch cutting equipment to cut, repair, modify materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and production docs.
• Inspect finished welds with precision measuring tools.
• Repair defective welds and replace components as needed.
• Maintain quality while meeting production schedules.
• Follow safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Keep work area 5S compliant.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned.
