Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a contract-to-hire production technician for a microelectronics cleanroom in San Diego. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot automated process equipment, and record production data with microscopes and computers.

You will perform assembly tasks, maintain a cleanroom, and meet tight production deadlines while collaborating with a team in a high-precision environment. Heavy lifting and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (education verification required).
• Experience in semiconductor or microelectronics manufacturing.
• Ability to perform microscope inspections with attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds repeatedly.
• Safe use of tools and equipment necessary.
• Data entry and production software experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automatic process equipment in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of process and automated production equipment.
• Conduct microscope inspections for quality control.
• Complete computer data entry tasks for production and inspection data.
• Assemble parts following established procedures and quality guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, controlled cleanroom environment.
• Follow production schedules in a deadline-driven, quality-focused environment.
• Collaborate with a team of 1520 employees to meet production goals.
