Job summary

Accurate Personnel is seeking a Micro Assembly Technician in Sugar Land, TX to perform precision assembly and microscopic inspection of LD components. You will handle tiny parts under a microscope, bond wires, and align assemblies to tight tolerances, following SOPs and engineering drawings.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in microelectronics or precision manufacturing, a high school diploma, and strong manual dexterity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in precision assembly, microelectronics, semiconductor, or related manufacturing.
• Experience under a microscope for extended periods and handling tiny components.
• Ability to read basic drawings and follow SOPs precisely.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision assembly of optoelectronic components including LDs.
• Handle components from 1 mm to 250 microns under a microscope.
• Conduct wire bonding and alignment of wires as small as 25 microns.
• Use microscopes to assemble, align, and inspect to tight tolerances.
• Document work and report defects; support yield and quality improvements.
• Adhere to cleanroom, ESD, and safety protocols.
