UNITECH COMPOSITES INC is seeking a precise Metrologist to ensure accuracy and precision of measurement equipment across production and quality processes. The role involves developing, maintaining, calibrating, and improving measurement systems to support compliance with industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have a metrology degree and 2+ years of calibration experience, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in reading technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Metrology or related technical field.
• 2+ years in metrology or calibration in manufacturing or lab environment.
• Strong understanding of measurement science and calibration principles.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and maintain precision measurement instruments (dimensional, electrical, mechanical, temperature).
• Develop and implement measurement procedures and calibration protocols per ISO/IEC 17025, AS9100 or similar.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty instruments or route to vendors as needed.
• Maintain calibration records, certificates, and traceability logs.
• Perform uncertainty and statistical analyses to validate measurement systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams on metrology issues.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer metrology requirements.
• Train personnel on metrology best practices and instrument use.
• Participate in internal and external metrology audits.
