Job summary

Anchor Custom Fabrications in Smithville, TN seeks a Dimensional Quality Inspector who will verify that every component and finished good meets our standards. You’ll examine raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products, record outcomes, and escalate nonconformances promptly.

You will help create and roll out quality control procedures, participate in internal audits, and apply best practices in metrology and inspection.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; QA-related certification is a plus.
Demonstrated experience as a quality inspector or similar role in manufacturing.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical abilities.
Working knowledge of quality methodologies, standards, and SOPs.

Responsibilities

Examine raw materials, in-process parts, and finished products to verify compliance with established quality criteria.
Record inspection outcomes with accuracy, maintaining logs and traceable documentation.
Detect nonconformances and defects, and escalate findings promptly.
Partner with production teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
Help create, refine, and roll out quality control procedures and SOPs.
Participate in internal audits and support continuous improvement projects.
