Job summary

Entegris in Bedford, MA is seeking a Calibration/Metrology Technician (Mon-Fri, days) to calibrate, verify, and maintain metrology equipment and instruments. You will prepare measurement reports, operate CMM/vision systems, and ensure data integrity in GAGEtrak.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical, Precision, Manufacturing Engineering, Metrology, or related technical discipline preferred; HS diploma required.
• Hands-on experience with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, gauge blocks.
• Ability to read/read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Understanding of calibration concepts: traceability, uncertainty basics, acceptance criteria.
• Proven ability to produce clear measurement reports and maintain meticulous records.
• Strong attention to detail and disciplined work habits; reliable ownership for accuracy.
• Effective communication and teamwork across engineering, maintenance and operations.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, calibration/asset systems, file management).

Responsibilities

• Execute scheduled calibrations, verifications, and preventive maintenance for metrology and equipment.
• Perform dimensional inspections and produce accurate, timely measurement reports.
• Set up and operate CMM/vision systems per GD&T requirements.
• Maintain calibration records using GAGEtrak and ensure asset traceability.
• Schedule and track calibration activities for on-time completion.
• Update equipment status and certification data in GAGEtrak.
• Generate and review calibration reports, labels, and certificates.
• Monitor due/overdue instruments and take corrective action.
• Coordinate with production and engineering to minimize downtime during calibration cycles.
• Own GR&R schedule and support MSA and basic SPC data collection.
• Ensure weekly Stability (LTS) activities by the production team on metrology tools.
