Ross Metal Fabricators in Deer Park, NY is seeking an experienced metal polisher to join our manufacturing team. You will prepare, grind, deburr and polish steel and stainless-steel components to meet finish specifications.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with a focus on high-quality finishes.
• Ability to visually inspect parts to ensure correct finish.
• Capable of working independently or with a team.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following procedures.
• Proficient with basic personal tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, tape measure).

Responsibilities

• Deburr, grind, and polish steel and stainless-steel parts.
• Operate pneumatic and electric polishing tools safely.
• Polish to surface finishes from rough to mirror (approx. 70 RA to 4 RA).
• Inspect finished parts for quality and finish compliance.
• Follow quality and safety procedures and maintain production pace.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team to meet schedules.
