Job summary

Lincoln Industries is seeking a Polisher to clean, de-burr, polish and grind metal parts using hand tools or powered equipment. This hourly, non-exempt role reports to the Polishing Team Leader and requires at least a high school diploma and some related experience.

Responsibilities include deburring, polishing, tool changes on grinders, and applying abrasive compounds while adhering to safety and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months related experience.
• One year of related experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deburrs or polishes parts using a portable grinder or buffer.
• Hold parts against abrasive belt or buff wheel to grind, polish or buff surfaces.
• Meet and maintain individual production goals.
• Change tools on power equipment as needed.
• Apply abrasive compounds to facilitate polishing operations.
• Follow safety procedures and dispose of waste properly.
