Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to monitor, maintain, and operate production equipment. You will be responsible for cleaning, quality-checking, configuring, loading, and optimizing machinery to meet daily schedules.

Hourly rate is $25.84, with shift Thursday to Monday (Mon-Thu, 5am-3pm). Indoor, dusty industrial environment; candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or Equivalent Work Experience required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred with demonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience with computer controlled equipment.
• Ability to follow standard work instructions, use measurement tools, blueprints, manuals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Standard Work Instructions and Company Policies
• Adhere/Follow all safety rules
• Alert supervision to product quality or machine operation concerns
• Maintain the 5S standard of the assigned area
• Prepare and calibrate the machine to run according to daily production schedule, validate batch information and check equipment status
• Monitor each run for quality and efficiency and adjust settings based on quality control feedback
• Input production run information into the production database and maintain the hour-by-hour board
• Perform other duties as assigned
