Life Fitness / Hammer Strength in Ramsey, MN is hiring a Metal Finisher on the First Shift (5:00 am to 3:30 pm). You will grind, finish, and inspect welds to prepare premium strength equipment for the next stage of production.

The role requires manufacturing experience (grinding/finishing a plus), the ability to read engineering prints, and strong attention to detail, with a safety‑minded, independent work style in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Grinding, metal finishing or sandblasting experience a plus.
• Able to read and understand work instructions and engineering prints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced team environment.
• Effective English communication (reading and understanding).
• Dependable, positive attitude, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform grinding and finishing work on welded components.
• Inspect welds against engineering prints.
• Prepare units for the next stage of production.
• Safely operate hoists, hand tools, and finishing equipment.
• Report quality concerns or equipment issues to your Lead or Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
