Qualifications

• Read blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions.
• Use precision measuring tools and basic shop math.
• Follow safety procedures and journal production records.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and fabrication specifications.
• Measure, mark, cut, bend, drill, grind, and shape metal materials using appropriate tools.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment such as saws, brakes, presses, punches, rollers, and grinders.
• Fit and assemble metal components using clamps, fixtures, fasteners, and other joining methods.
• Inspect completed work with measuring devices to verify dimensions and quality.
