Echo Electric in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a Metal Fabricator to cut, shape, assemble, and finish Parrell wheels. You will read blueprints, set up fabrication equipment, weld when required, inspect parts for accuracy, and maintain a safe, organized workspace. Shift: Mon–Fri 7:00am–5:00pm.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and experience with MIG/TIG welding and fabrication tools. Lean practices and strong teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions.
• Use precision measuring tools and perform basic shop math.
• Experience with MIG or TIG welding is preferred.
• Knowledge of safe material-handling practices and lean manufacturing.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and fabrication specs.
• Measure, mark, cut, bend, drill, grind, and shape metal materials.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment (saws, brakes, presses, punches).
• Fit and assemble metal components with fixtures and fasteners.
• Perform welding when qualified.
• Inspect work using measuring tools for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and document production data.
• Follow safety procedures including PPE and lockout/tagout.
