Weco Manufacturing Group is seeking a hands-on manufacturing associate to support metal fabrication and finishing processes at our New York facilities. The role involves handling materials, operating basic production equipment, and ensuring pieces meet specifications through inspection and finishing steps.

Qualifications

• Education and/or experience requirements reflect general manufacturing roles.
• High School Diploma is required; 1 year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Move and position materials with help from coworkers.
• Lift and position work pieces.
• File, grind, or scrape edges to smooth surfaces.
• Compare pieces to specifications with straightedge or templates.
• Lift, move, clamp, and bolt dies and fixtures on machines.
• Operate sandblasting to clean surfaces before painting or coating.
• Sort or tag finished work.
• Brush or blows dirt from dies.
• Remove pieces and scrap from machines.
• Clean area, machines and equipment after tasks.
• Carry out other duties to meet state and federal regulations.
