Job summary

Anchor Fabrication, LLC in Denton, TX is seeking an Assembler 1 to operate various machines and assemble metal parts to customer specifications using hand tools and routine inspection. The shift is Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a starting pay of $16.00 per hour.

You will read blueprints, monitor quality, and help maintain a clean, organized workspace. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; experience in metal fabrication and machine operation is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience using hand and/or powered machines.
• Experience in a metal fabrication area a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines to produce metal parts according to blueprints or operator instructions.
• Load/unload a paint line, sand parts, minor assembly, inspection, and packing as needed.
• Inspect parts and ensure conformity to specifications and maintain production counts.
• Maintain machine and tools for good operating condition.
• Complete required documentation and meet efficiency standards.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping standards and report non-conforming product.
