Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Assembler in South San Francisco, CA, on a contract-to-hire basis. You will finish and assemble precision metal components using hand and power tools, perform quality inspections, and follow job instructions to ensure conformance with specifications.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 30 lbs, and working Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in a fully onsite facility. Pay ranges from $22.00 to $23.00 per hour with full benefits available.

Qualifications

• Experience in assembly/manufacturing environments preferred.
• Comfort using hand tools and power tools in production.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Remove burrs and excess metal from machined parts.
• Assemble and finish precision metal components per instructions.
• Inspect parts for quality and conformance throughout production.
• Perform visual and dimensional quality checks.
• Follow work instructions, blueprints and SOPs accurately.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety guidelines.
• Report defects or equipment issues promptly.
• Use hand and power tools safely in production environment.
• Support general production tasks to meet goals.
• Handle materials carefully to prevent damage.
