Job summary

Abbott Laboratories in Temecula, CA is seeking an Operator II to perform a wide range of electronic, mechanical, or electro-mechanical assembly operations for vascular devices. You will set up and operate automatic or semi-automatic machines, apply labels, and ensure data sheets accompany products.

The role requires strong manual dexterity, attention to detail, and adherence to FDA regulations. Training and a supportive team culture are emphasized within the AV Dascular division.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year
• Experience in assembly of digital/analog circuitry, devices, components or equivalent.
• Demonstrated use of standard hand tools used in the assembly of bio-instruments/bio-devices.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs Electronic Assembly: assembles, welds, solders and x-rays medical devices using microscopes and applicable tools.
• Locates and corrects problems by examining x-rays and performing visual inspection of parts; repairs and tests units using computerized test equipment.
• Performs Casting/Coating: examines devices after molding to locate defects and removes epoxy using drills and tools.
• Performs Mechanical Assembly: kits, assembles, bonds coats and processes devices using microscopes and tools.
