Job summary

Bender CCP, Inc. in Vernon, CA is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Inspector to ensure the quality of machined and repaired components.

You will inspect from as-found through in-process and final stages, using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, height gauges, and other precision tools to verify dimensions and tolerances. Collaborating with Machining, Engineering, Quality, and Operations, you’ll identify issues, drive root-cause investigations, and ensure work meets drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Experience reading engineering drawings.
• Experience with precision measurement equipment.
• Familiarity with GD&T is a plus.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks and FaroArm or Laser Tracker is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect components throughout repair and manufacturing process.
• Perform in-process and final inspections to verify dimensions.
• Use precision measurement tools to verify tolerances.
• Collaborate with Machining, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to resolve issues.
