Job summary

Hutchinson Aerospace and Industry is seeking a Mechanical Inspector to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will perform incoming and finished product inspections, manage inspection data, and support assembly troubleshooting with GD&T and dimensional verification.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (GED acceptable), 5+ years preferred, ability to read drawings, and US citizenship. This role offers a split shift between 1st and 2nd, with comprehensive benefits and growth

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret drawings, technical procedures, or customer specifications.
• Calculate circumference, volume, and apply basic algebra/geometry concepts.
• Solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Multitask and maintain attention to detail.
• Proficient in GD&T and aerospace/ISO/TS standards.
• Strong computer and communication skills.
• US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming components and finished products.
• Maintain and organize inspection folders and data; create AS9102 first articles.
• Provide troubleshooting support for assembly with part number verification and dimensional checks.
• Process material transactions for inspected material.
• Research component BOM and inventory information in databases.
• Read and work from mechanical drawings and written instructions.
