Job summary

STAINLESS MOTORS INC is expanding its assembly department and seeks both entry level and more experienced technicians for rapid growth. The Assembly Technician will assemble electric motors and gear boxes per prints, ensuring high-quality outputs and customer satisfaction.

Hands-on work and pride in workmanship are essential for success in this role. Responsibilities include reading Bills of Material, using digital calipers, verifying parts, and assisting Shipping & Receiving with packaging.

Qualifications

• Formal mechanical training or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 1–3 years relevant experience.
• Math requirement – ability to add and subtract decimals and fractions.

Responsibilities

• Reads Bills of Material and follows procedures for assembly and test.
• Uses precision instruments such as digital calipers to obtain proper fits and clearances.
• Identifies any part or equipment defects and notifies manager to ensure prompt correction.
• Verifies correct quantities of parts for the assembly at hand.
• Supports Shipping & Receiving in packaging/unpackaging products.
