Job summary

ProMach in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to assemble and erect complex mechanical assemblies, calibrate operating units, and ensure conformance to tight tolerances. You will read engineering prints, use precision measuring tools, and troubleshoot electrical controls as part of a skilled manufacturing team.

This role emphasizes careful assembly, alignment, and testing to meet performance standards.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering prints/specifications to assemble machines.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls using testing instruments.
• Plan assembly procedures to ensure efficient progress and accuracy.
• Inspect parts for conformance to specifications/tolerances.
• Follow safety requirements in tool operation and handling.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering prints/specifications to determine necessary assembly of machine.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls utilizing Multimeter, Amp meter, and/or oscilloscope.
• Plan assembly procedures and methods to assure efficient and timely progress.
• Assemble complex mechanical units with precision and accuracy.
• Inspect parts for proper machining finish and dimensions.
