Job summary

Harvard Integrations is seeking an assembler to read drawings, position components, install fixtures, and inspect units per customer specs in a fast-paced environment. You will gather tools, drill/tap holes, prep surfaces for painting, and assemble/test units with gauges and test devices.

This role requires physical stamina and adherence to safety protocols, with possible forklift certification. The position is on-site in Tea, SD, with day and evening shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Flexibility to work under production pressure.
• Ability to cooperate with other team members.
• Stand for long periods, work on knees, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in enclosed spaces for extended periods.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements.
• Detail oriented.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings or customer specifications to determine position of unit component parts.
• Position components and install fixtures.
• Inspect products to verify changes meet customer specifications.
• Clean dust and dirt off building panels and electrical components.
• Gather supplies and tools needed to complete jobs.
• Drill and tap holes to install floor plates and thresholds.
• Grind knots off floor and panels prior to painting.
• Complete work according to schedule and document traveler details.
• Verify correct paint colors by reading drawings and specs.
• Assemble and test units using gauges, test lights, hand tools, and related devices.
• May install windows, doors, handles, drains, or other accessories.
• Clean workspace and return tools daily.
• Work safely and perform additional duties as required.
