The position is non-exempt and full-time temporary with a 3-month assignment in the Manufacturing department, reporting to the Production Manager. Salary ranges from $22 to $25 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• English fluency and able to communicate with others effectively.
• Basic understanding of how to use non powered hand tools.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble units using standard hand and power tools by reading from drawings and diagrams.
• Inspect incoming mechanical parts and pieces; reject and notify supervisor of non-conforming parts.
• Assemble sub-assemblies to deliver the product on or before due date.
• Ensure all parts are fitted and screwed in properly.
• Maintain awareness of ISO quality system and workmanship standards.
