Job summary

Lennox International is seeking a Mechanical Machine Assembler in New York to precisely assemble mechanical components in a manufacturing setting. You will handle wiring tasks, fit parts, and use a range of hand tools and equipment to meet exact specifications.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience, and the ability to work 10-hour days, 4 days a week with possible overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read/write in English.
• Must be able to read/write drawings and wiring diagrams in English.
• Must be able to use wire cutters, crimpers, screwdrivers, and electric drills.
• Must be able to operate an electrical wire soldering tool.
• Able to work 10 hour days, 4 days a week, OT may be required.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts, pieces and/or products using various tools according to specifications in manufacturing.
• Ensure parts fit correctly for the final product.
• Join, fasten, and connect parts with equipment.
• Handle electrical wiring tasks, including motors, control panels, sensors, and switches.
• Report incidents, faulty operations, or product imperfections.
• Record daily production and maintain quotas.
• Maintain records of assembly activities and modifications.
• Load raw materials as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues in the assembly process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
