Job summary

Stellant Systems in Torrance, CA seeks a Mechical Assembler on first shift to build sub-assemblies for traveling wave tube (TWT) products. You will follow detailed process instructions, use hand tools, fixtures, measuring devices, and operate furnaces to assemble sub-assemblies and components.

• Experience in a clean room is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical assembly (vacuum assembly, subs, packaging, magnet stack, high vacuum testing, circuits) and related duties.
• Set up and operate assembly equipment to manufacture and process TWTs through final acceptance and delivery.
• Work under clean room conditions as required.
• Input, retrieve, and analyze information using computerized equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering prints and ensure handwriting is neat and properly stamped.
• Maintain quality, cost, and delivery targets; clock in/out of work orders and record time charges.
