Job summary

Teledyne is seeking a mechanically oriented assembler in Lincoln, Nebraska, to perform bench and line subassembly work under close supervision. You will follow drawings, BOMs and instructions to assemble components with precision, using a range of hand and power tools.

The role requires basic math, ability to read simple instructions, and the patience to test and inspect parts with basic instruments. Prior vocational training is preferred, and safety procedures must be followed throughout

Qualifications

• High school diploma and some vocational or technical training preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments and interpret schematics/drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical subassemblies and assemblies under close supervision.
• Follow production drawings, schematics, and bills of materials.
• Use hand and power tools to fit components and perform fastening operations.
• Perform basic testing and inspection of assemblies.
• Tend machines and operate equipment required for assembly.
