Qualifications

• One-year manufacturing work experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in welding, machinist, home improvement tasks, plumbing
• Mechanical aptitude
• Must be able to read a tape measurer
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds
• Manual dexterity and skill in use of hand tools
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Work independently and with others
• Able to work overtime as required
• Mathematical skills – including addition and subtraction of fractions
• Basic computer skills
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to analyze mechanical and electro/mechanical system failures and to work with schematic drawings
• Must be able to pass in-house forklift certification
• Position required constant physical movement (standing, bending, kneeling, stretching)

Responsibilities

• Fabrication of chemical feed equipment, including pipe fitting – including using PVC, CPVC and stainless steel pipe
• Structural support, machining and assembly as required and directed by the project scope
• Ensuring manufacturing accuracy against drawings or blueprints
• Bring inaccuracies or problems with drawings to the attention of the Foreman
• Build fluid control systems out of piping by following design
• Functional testing of completed systems
• Maintain personal inventory and condition of tools
• Confirm pulled parts with Bills of Material and report failed parts
• Adhere to Company policies and procedures
• Punctual attendance
• Maintain work area in a neat and organized manner
• Accomplish goals, meet deadlines and objectives
• Support Client, Company and Team
• Maintains company confidentiality
• Other duties as required to attain company goals
