Integrated Metal Products, Inc. in Lakeland, FL is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join our production team. You will assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies according to drawings, use hand and power tools, and ensure parts meet tolerances and quality standards.

Work closely with Fabrication, Welding, and Engineering to resolve assembly issues, document work, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of mechanical assembly experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and measurements.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices (calipers, tape measures, torque tools).
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Assemble mechanical components, hardware, and fabricated parts according to blueprints and specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment to complete assemblies.
• Fit, align, and adjust parts to meet dimensional and functional requirements.
• Perform basic mechanical troubleshooting and rework as needed.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and work orders.
• Verify part quantities, materials, and specifications before assembly.
• Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, quality, and proper function.
• Document work performed and report any discrepancies or defects.
• Work closely with Fabrication, Welding, and Engineering teams to resolve assembly issues.
• Communicate material shortages, design concerns, or process improvements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies, including PPE requirements.
