Qualifications

• Technical certification in mechanical assembly preferred.
• 1–3 years of mechanical assembly experience.
• Able to read blueprints, schematics and work instructions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and handle materials.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components, subassemblies, and systems according to blueprints, work orders, and drawings.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments for precise fits.
• Conduct functional testing of completed assemblies to ensure proper operation.
• Identify and report assembly issues to supervisor for resolution.
• Inspect parts for defects and adhere to QA protocols.
• Maintain compliance with production standards and specifications.
• Record assembly processes, tasks, and test results.
• Provide feedback to improve procedures for efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA and production teams to meet goals.
• Participate in training and development initiatives.
