Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and wiring/hydraulic diagrams.
• Ability to follow direction and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Use basic tools including wrenches, hammers, drills, screwdrivers, brooms, and measuring devices as well as assembly fixtures.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and wiring/hydraulic diagrams.
• Ability to assemble components of mechanical systems in accordance with the design specifications.
• Set-up and test assembled equipment analyzing the root cause of any defects.
• Ability to drill, taps, or ream holes.
• Ability to align and install dynamic components such as; levers, shafts and bearings testing their operational capacity.
• Ability to align and install components that mesh with one another.
• Ability to install components and connections and test for any leaks in the system.
• Maintain clean work area and record daily operations and material usage.
• Punch into jobs on terminals and follow policies and procedures.
