Qualifications

• Previous experience as a meat cutter or in a meat department.

• Flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.
• Knowledge of basic meat cuts and proper knife techniques.

Responsibilities

• Weigh, cut, and slice meat according to manager specifications and client preferences.
• Maintain active Food Workers Card and Meat Cutter License.
• Advise customers on different cuts of meat and preparation.
• Label all meat products with price, packaging date, and expiration date.
• Package meat safely for display cases and keep displays clean.
• Rotate stock and monitor inventory to meet daily operations and special orders.
• Ensure sanitation of workspaces, equipment, and meat storage areas.
