Job summary

El Rancho Supermercado is seeking a Meat Cutter to perform various cuts for meat items using knife or saw, while upholding quality and rotation standards. You will keep the cases stocked, price items, and ensure product integrity and safety.

The role requires basic kitchen skills and a bilingual English/Spanish speaker who can provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in knife handling and cutting techniques.
• Ability to communicate clearly with coworkers and customers.
• Capable of multitasking across several meat-cutting and stocking tasks.

Responsibilities

• Stock merchandise in fresh and frozen cases.
• Receive incoming shipments following department procedures.
• Price products and ensure proper rotation and quality control.
• Rewrap meat packages as needed to maintain freshness.
• Perform continuous meat cutting with knife and/or saw machine.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment in compliance with safety and sanitation.
• Deliver excellent customer service.
