Job summary

Kroger Co. Meat Department is seeking team members to assist in product preparation, stocking, and customer service at the Renton location. You will ensure safe handling, accurate labeling, and friendly service while maintaining a clean department and adhering to company policies.

The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work weekends/holidays in a fast-paced retail environment. Training, discounts, and growth opportunities accompany the position.

Qualifications

• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read shelf tags, signs, and product labels.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stress calmly.
• Meat work experience or similar experience in food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Cutting, grinding, slicing, preparing and packaging meat per policies.
• Keep temperature logs updated and meat items stocked safely.
• Ensure product quality and proper rotation of stock.
• Maintain clean, organized sales areas and backrooms.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist shoppers promptly.
• Unload trucks and place items in proper cooler locations.
• Wash and sanitize equipment per health department policies.
