Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of meat cutting experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Valid Food Handler’s Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, grind, and wrap all types of meat and seafood products according to company specifications.
• Prepare roasts, steaks, poultry, seafood, and specialty items for stock and Grab & Go cases.
• Produce house-made items to meet production goals.
• Maintain proper product rotation and monitor temperatures for safety and compliance.
• Prevent spoilage by labeling, weighing, dating, and pulling products ahead of sell-by dates.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.
• Operate and maintain saws, grinders, tenderizers, and other tools safely.
• Stock and rotate products; ensure freshness and strong visual appeal.
• Provide professional, knowledgeable, and friendly customer service.
