Job summary

Ventura Foods in Chambersburg, PA is seeking a Material Inspector to weigh batches to support Right the First Time (RFT) goals. You will use scales, follow production formulas, and record batch data. Candidates must read and follow directions, perform basic math, and work onsite across various 8–12 hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to count accurately and perform basic math.
• Must be able to use scales and measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in weighing batches according to production schedule and formulas.
• Weigh and measure spices and ingredients with scales, ensuring accuracy.
• Follow spice room SOPs and record batch data with supplier lot numbers.
• Use FIFO rotation for batch sheets and lot tracking.
• Receive HMIS training and follow safety procedures for materials.
