Job summary

Qualifications

• Dexterity required for manual operations.
• Ability to visually inspect finished parts.
• Familiarity with power tools, forklift and overhead crane.
• Must meet physical demands: stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, bend or kneel.
• Able to work in varying weather conditions.
• Forklift certification required.
• Overhead crane training and certification required.
• Rigging training and certification required.
• Adhere to OSHA safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate product per job specs and drawings.
• Prepare workstations per Lead Assembly Technician direction.
• Read and understand shop drawings, blueprints, product specifications, and process documents.
• Perform quality control inspections to ensure product meets specs and tolerances.
• Be knowledgeable on all hardware and fastener types.
• Handle and transport material with forklift and overhead crane.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and healthy work environment.
• Report issues with tools, equipment or unsafe conditions.
• Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
