Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics in Nicholasville, KY, part of Danaher, seeks a Precision Manufacturing Technician (Lapping Technician) to set up and operate automatic and semi-automatic machines in the hardware component manufacturing team.

Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, the role is on-site, with responsibilities including monitoring process controls, logging CGMP data, and ensuring product performance on highly precise equipment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree with 0-1+ years of experience or more in a related role.
• Experience working with precise equipment such as microscopes, lathes, ultrasonic cleaners, lasers and chemicals.
• Ability to lift/move equipment up to 10 lb and stand for seven hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Interact with highly technical equipment to ensure product performance.
• Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures and related controls.
• Log data by following CGMPs and a Quality Management System.
