Job summary

Veeco is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our critical production team in New Jersey. You will troubleshoot assembly discrepancies, work with Engineering/R&D on complex challenges, and drive improvements in test processes to enhance product quality and production efficiency.

You will manage test data during acceptance testing, analyze performance reports, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support rapid issue resolution and continuous improvement in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in a technical field or relevant field service experience preferred.
• Experience in semiconductor, capital equipment, or advanced manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies identified during assembly, integration, and advanced system testing.
• Partner with Engineering and R&D to diagnose and solve high-impact technical challenges.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering and Assembly/Test teams to drive rapid issue resolution and improve production efficiency.
• Own and manage manufacturing test data for acceptance testing (ETL & ATL).
• Compile and analyze statistical performance reports during Final Test for data-driven decisions.
• Identify trends in discrepancies and lead corrective actions for zero defects.
• Drive test-process innovations and improvements to existing methodologies.
• Support senior technicians with tool-related duties and maintenance.
• Maintain 5S standards to ensure a clean, organized work environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for scalability and efficiency.
