Job summary

LISI AEROSPACE NORTH AMERICA in Missouri is seeking a General Operator II to perform basic set-ups, operate production machines, and accurately measure parts to meet quality targets. You will run secondary machines such as drill, milling, trim, and more after training, and maintain competency per skill assessments.

The role requires reading blueprints/MOs, inspecting parts with calipers or micrometers, recording inspection data, and following all safety and 5S procedures on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints or MO to determine product specs, tolerances and tooling.
• Inspects product with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify conformance.
• Performs basic set-ups, tooling changes and operates secondary production machines per SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic set-ups and tooling changes on secondary machines after training.
• Read MO/blueprints for dimension tolerances and tooling requirements.
• Inspect parts using calipers and micrometers and record inspection data; perform SPC as required.
• Follow safety, 5S, and HSE procedures in daily operations.
