Job summary

Glidewell is looking for a Manufacturing Operator in Irvine, CA to support production from material preparation to final inspection. You will follow BOMs, batch materials, operate a range of equipment, and maintain clean, organized work areas.

The role requires at least one year of manufacturing experience and a high school diploma, with strong emphasis on quality, documentation, and 6S/kaizen improvements on the shop floor.

• One year of manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures work orders in BruxZir Colloidal, BruxZir NOW, BruxZir Press, BruxZir Shade Guide, Composites, Injection Molding, and Obsidian.
• Obtains materials from storage locations as per work order requirements.
• Measures, pre-batches, and delivers all components to blending area; verifies quantity and ingredient lot numbers going into the batch and documents on Bill of Material sheets.
• Weighs powders and liquids using a scale to prepare batches; adheres to formula instructions.
• Issues components to the work order and reports production of WIP and/or finished goods using handheld devices.
• Operates CNC machines, presses, mills, furnaces, ovens, and other equipment; uses hand tools.
• Inspects products for defects and verifies shade; records results.
• Completes paperwork, labels and packages products for shipment; maintains SOP documentation.
• Conducts final inspection and verification of finished goods and manufacturing documentation.
• Identifies non-conforming products and maintains inspection records.
• Solves daily operations problems with limited supervision.
• Transports materials to next scheduled operation and maintains 6S standards.
• Completes daily job checks and participates in kaizen activity.
