Job summary

Samtec, Inc. in Vista, CA is seeking a Manufacturing Production Operator for a first-shift role, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

You will support production and testing of optical products, handling optical engines with precision tools and microscopes, and ensuring quality throughout the process. The position emphasizes attention to detail, adherence to instructions, and teamwork in a lean manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of manufacturing or production experience.
• Ability to work with small components and precision equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Use tweezers and precision tools to handle optical engines and transfer between trays.
• Perform measurements, alignment, and testing of optical assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and production orders.
• Operated production equipment and tooling per SOPs.
• Maintain lean workflow and high quality throughout production.
