The position involves preparing optical engines for testing, transferring components, and ensuring quality in a clean manufacturing environment. Starting pay is $24.00 to $29.00 per hour, with potential quality bonus of $0.50 per hour on weeks with no quality rejects, plus eligibility for Samtec's Tiger Cash bonus program after vesting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of manufacturing or production experience.
• Ability to work with small components and precision equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Handle optical engines with precision tools; transfer between trays and testing equipment.
• Perform measurements, alignment, and testing of optical assemblies and components.
• Follow work instructions and SOPs for the production area.
• Read blueprints and process instructions; operate production equipment as required.
