Job summary

Metalcraft of Mayville, Inc. is seeking skilled Manual Welders to join our manufacturing team. This position welds and fabricates metal parts and assemblies according to specifications, blueprints, welding symbols, and established quality standards.

Reporting to the Manual Welding Manager, the Manual Welder will perform MIG, TIG, and aluminum welding while ensuring finished products meet quality and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Must pass internal welding test.
• Experience in welding or metal fabrication preferred.
• Know-how of fixtures, setup procedures, and welding parameters such as amps and volts.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.
• Basic shop math and reading of measurements.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and aluminum welding on metal parts and assemblies.
• Follow Welding Procedure Specifications and weld standards.
• Read blueprints and welding symbols and interpret work instructions.
• Set up welding equipment with appropriate parameters (amps/volts).
• Inspect completed parts to verify conformance to specs and quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and perform basic preventive maintenance.
