Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our manufacturing client in Morgantown, PA. This first-shift role focuses on setting up and operating manual lathes, milling machines, grinders, and related equipment to produce precision metal parts per blueprints.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience as a Manual Machinist in a manufacturing environment.
Experience setting up and operating manual lathes and milling machines.
Ability to read blueprints and interpret machining specifications.
Maintain tight tolerances and quality standards.
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate manual lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses and other machining equipment.
Manufacture precision components according to blueprints, drawings and customer specs.
Interpret machining instructions, determine cutting dimensions, and plan operations.
Select cutting tools, materials, speeds, and feeds per job requirements.
Machine various materials and inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy.
Identify and correct machining issues and adjust tooling as needed.
