Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment, operating manual machines, manual lathes, and manual mills.
• Reads blueprint or job order for product and job specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, number of parts to be run, tooling instructions or other written specifications
• Ability to adjust to changes without compromising Quality or Performance
• Must be able to work a shift schedule and overtime as needed, including weekends

Responsibilities

• Sets up machine, observes operation, and inspects first run and sample work pieces to ensure machining conforms to specifications
• Reads blueprint or job order for product and job specifications such as dimensions, tolerances, number of parts to be run, tooling instructions or other written specifications
• Performs routine and preventative machine maintenance and inspections as required
• Accurately completes work order paperwork/documentation
• Assists other machine operators to set up machine, and stack, mark, pack, and transport finished work pieces
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested by the supervisor
