Job summary

Bender CCP in Corona, CA is seeking an experienced Conventional / Manual Machinist to join the machine shop. This hands-on role focuses on precision machining, industrial equipment repair, and restoration of large components.

Qualifications

5+ years of manual machining experience.
Strong experience operating lathes, mills, and VTLs.
Ability to read drawings and work to tight tolerances.
Experience using precision measuring equipment.
Industrial, job-shop, equipment repair, or heavy manufacturing experience preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Operate manual lathes, mills, and VTLs.
Perform turning, milling, boring, drilling, threading, grooving, and line boring.
Machine and repair shafts, valve stems, journals, and other industrial components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Maintain tight dimensional tolerances and quality standards.
Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and dial indicators.
Work safely with large and heavy industrial components and shop equipment.
