Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as manual machinist or in a similar machining role.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency with manual machine tools such as lathes, mills, and grinders.
• Strong understanding of machining measurements and precision instruments.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze drawings to determine machining needs.
• Set up and operate lathes, mills and grinders to fabricate parts.
• Measure and inspect parts to ensure tolerances.
• Maintain and adjust machines to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and improve processes.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean work area.
• Document work and maintain production records.
