American Crane & Equipment Corporation in Douglassville, PA is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist for the 1st shift. You will set up and operate manual and CNC machines to produce precision components for overhead cranes and hoists, reading blueprints, and maintaining tight tolerances in a non-repetitive, low-volume environment.
The role requires strong blueprint interpretation, precision measurement, and the ability to apply trigonometry and geometry.
Formación
- Must read blueprints and interpret dimensions precisely.
- Strong measuring skills with micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and height gauges.
- Ability to apply trig and geometry to set up and inspect parts.
- Experience operating manual machines: lathes, horizontal boring mills, drill presses, and milling machines.
Responsabilidades
- Operate manual and CNC machines to produce precision components from blueprints.
- Apply knowledge of steel properties to select feeds, speeds, and tooling for accuracy.
- Read engineering blueprints and verify tolerances using precision measurement tools.
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area and follow all safety protocols.
