University of Vermont Health - UVM Medical Center in Vermont seeks an experienced Mammography Technologist to support the mammography department across campuses, performing routine and diagnostic exams with expert patient positioning and imaging quality.

You must meet FDA/ACR requirements, obtain ARRT mammography certification within 12 months, and participate in weekly QC; on-call shifts and varied hours may apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology approved by CAHEA/JERCT.
• ARRT certified, and is Licensed or License eligible with the State of Vermont.
• Experience: Previous Mammography Technologist or at least 1 year as a Radiology technologist who has completed all Radiology competencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly quality control as required by the FDA and ACR.
• Proficiently perform routine and diagnostic mammography exams on all equipment at each campus.
• May perform other mammography guided procedures under the direction of a radiologist, supervisor, or lead technologist.
• May work evenings, weekends and holidays across multiple campuses and cover on-call duties as needed.
